The Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have officially signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build a state-of-the-art international cricket stadium in Jeddah. The strategic agreement was finalized during an official visit to Riyadh by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who met with SACF Chairman Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Mohammad Al Saud. Designed to meet the highest modern standards for international competition, the collaboration will leverage Pakistan’s extensive cricket expertise to assist the Kingdom in venue planning, technical programs, and overall infrastructure development.
This milestone venture aligns closely with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to expand sports tourism, nurture home-grown athletic talent, and enhance the overall sports ecosystem within Saudi Arabia. By constructing a top-tier stadium in Jeddah, the Kingdom is actively positioning itself to host major global cricket tournaments and sporting events in the near future.
