Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Qatar to convey condolences to Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani following the death of former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit Qatar to meet Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and express condolences over the passing of former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
The PMO said the visit reflects the longstanding and brotherly relationship between Pakistan and Qatar, highlighting the deep-rooted ties shared by the Qatari royal family, the people of Qatar, and the government and people of Pakistan.
Officials described the visit as a gesture of solidarity and mutual respect, underscoring the close diplomatic partnership that has strengthened over decades through cooperation in trade, investment, energy and regional affairs.
