Gold Price in Pakistan recorded a sharp increase on Thursday after five consecutive days of decline, following a strong rebound in the international bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs9,100, reaching Rs428,736.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs7,802 to Rs367,572, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs7,152, taking the price to Rs336,953.
In the international market, gold prices climbed by $91 per ounce, with the precious metal trading at $4,063 per ounce, contributing to the sharp rise in local gold rates.
Silver prices also moved higher in Pakistan. The price of 24-karat silver per tola increased by Rs203 to Rs6,445, while 10 grams of 24-karat silver gained Rs174 reaching Rs5,525.
The latest increase comes after gold prices had remained under pressure for nearly five days, marking a strong recovery in both local and global bullion markets.
