The fashion flashback is part of a larger 21-day charity sweepstakes hosted on the fundraising platform Fandiem, with this specific polka dot outfit expected to raise around $1,000. All proceeds from the campaign go directly to the Firework Foundation, a non-profit organization Perry co-founded with her sister in 2018 to provide arts education and creative outlets to children in underserved communities. This initiative will continue throughout her European festival circuit, as Perry has already revived multiple outfits from her 2009 Hello Katy Tour and plans to unveil another archival piece at every remaining stop of her Out of Office Tour.
