PM’s Cloud Program Opens for Pakistani Startups: Applications Due by July 10

Pakistani startups now have an opportunity to reduce their technology costs through the Prime Minister’s Cloud Program, with applications officially open until July 10.

The initiative, managed by Ignite under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, offers eligible startups cloud expense reimbursements of up to $13,500, helping them build, test, and scale their digital products without bearing the full cost of cloud infrastructure.

The program is open to startups across Pakistan that meet the eligibility criteria. Selected applicants will be able to choose the cloud service provider that best suits their business needs while also receiving technical guidance and expert advisory support to maximize the benefits of cloud adoption.

The reimbursement is available under a two-tier model. Under Tier 1, eligible startups can receive up to 60% reimbursement, with a maximum of $6,000, after spending $10,000 on cloud services. Tier 2 provides additional support of up to $7,500, allowing startups to receive a combined reimbursement of up to $13,500, subject to program requirements.

According to Ignite, the initiative aims to strengthen Pakistan’s startup ecosystem by making world-class cloud infrastructure more accessible. The program is expected to help emerging businesses accelerate innovation, improve operational efficiency, and expand into new markets.

Interested startups can submit their applications through the official Ignite portal before the July 10 deadline.
